Our story
Edumart's roots go back to the 1940s, before India's independence, when K. Mohammed Kutty opened a small book stall in Tirurangadi, Malappuram — serving students and families with the books they needed for each new school year.
His son, Abdurahiman, carried the business forward, and it was his son, Mustafa Koormath, who grew it into Edumart — Kerala's first academic hypermarket, a six-storey home for everything a student needs, in Tirurangadi Tower, Calicut.
Edumart® is a registered trademark of the Koormath family.
